Frankfort Regional Medical Center has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky for 2017 - making the recognition the 11th consecutive for the hospital.  The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) recently announced the companies that made the 13th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky list.

“Being named as one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky for the 11th consecutive year validates we are doing the right things, both for our employees and for the patients we have the privilege of caring for each day,” said Chip Peal, the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer. “Each of our employees plays a significant role in the success of our organization, and I am proud to work with such a strong team of healthcare professionals.”

This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Kentucky, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses.  The Best Places to Work in Kentucky 2017 list is made up of 100 companies in three categories – 40 in the small category (15-149 employees), 29 in the medium sized category (150-499 employees), and 31 in the large category (more than 500 employees).  Frankfort Regional Medical Center was recognized in the large category.

The selection process, managed by Best Companies Group, is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey.

Frankfort Regional Medical Center will be recognized and honored at an awards dinner on Wednesday, April 26, 2016 at Heritage Hall in the Lexington Convention Center. The final rankings will be announced at the event.
